Diane is an Oshkosh native, which gives her a solid historical and cultural understanding of the area. Paired with the objectivity of a marketer, Diane is able to bring a unique perspective to clients. Diane’s educational background is UW Oshkosh, School of Journalism with an Advertising & PR emphasis.
Diane began her career in radio sales, helped start the company in 1988, bought the company in 2000 and grew it into 44° North Advertising & Design. She recently joined the GO-EDC board, is a current board member of the Winnebago Conflict Resolution Center, a past board member and Secretary of the Oshkosh Area United Way, past board member of Oshkosh Family, Inc. and past board Chair of Child Care Resource & Referral. Aside from running a busy company, Diane is busy in the community, too. She is a member of Tempo Fox Valley and active in the Oshkosh Mid Morning Kiwanis Club. She is very even keeled…but then you would be, too, if people asked you to spell your last name 20 times a day. Diane loves to travel with frequent trips to Las Vegas, a recent visit to Washington DC and her last big trip, or as she calls it a “sprint” through the UK with her son Nick. Diane is the owner of one of the many canine workers one might see at 44º North when she brings her new family addition Max, short of Maxine a Golden Retriever into the office.
